X-Men: Wolverine Movie Casting News

The news of who’ll be in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine trilogy of movies keeps coming in. Here’s the roundup so far:

• Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine, but this prior to his meeting the X-Men.
• Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. [First Showing]
• Taylor Kitsch as Gambit. [Superhero Hype, First Showing]
• Will.i.Am of the Black Eyed Peas as John Wraith.
• Liev Schreiber as Victor Creed aka Sabretooth.
• Danny Huston as Col. William Stryker.
• Lynn Collins as Kayla Silver Fox.
• Dominic Monaghan will be Beak, aka Blackwing. [Just Jared]

The movies will be directed by Gavin Hood in New Zealand, Australia, and New Orleans. The first in the trilogy is set to be release on May 1st, 2009.
