No doubt an interesting title to you guys who want to know what women are after? Quite possibly interesting to women too because they want to know what to look for in a man. The “hot or not” topic is one that has been burning since the dawn of human-kind, and it can now be answered.

Some women say jeans, some say Hugo Boss, some say nothing but a smile and attitude. The key here is that it really comes down to compatibility of taste, in some ways it is a lot like Marmite… you either love it or you want to spit it out and stamp on it.

Often women want their men sharp, clean cut and well dressed. There are even songs about such a style. This includes uniforms (can anyone say Richard Gere?) and official clothing as well as the every day business suits and crisp night clubbing wear.

Other times women are looking for the “homely” type of guy. A man that is not so caught up in his own image that he has to wear the latest brands, the hottest scents, or even worry about letting an Iron attack his shirt at point blank range. The ladies can see that because of this ‘no worry’ attitude toward clothing that you guys who dress this way should be more interesting as a person. Obviously this does not give you the porogative to give up on the essentials such as bathing or smelling nice, but it does mean you can put on a plain jumper and jeans without worrying.

There are really only 4 things that you as a guy should do - regardless of your style - in order to ‘look hot’ to the right type of woman for you.

1. Get a good hair cut and keep it maintained
2. Be hygenic. So do wash, cut your nails and brush your teeth etc
3. Wear the clothes you want… that means don’t be naked in public!
4. Be casual, don’t wear clothes that simply don’t suit your personality

Think about how you look at women and what attracts you to them. Specifically think about what ‘type’ of woman you get attracted to. Is it the cute innocent ‘geek chic’ type? Perhaps the drop dead hot model from the magazines? The short skirt with hips that like R&B? Or is it the “I would look great and really enjoy living in a farm house like The Good Life” appeal that gets you going?

Whatever it is that attracts men to women and women to men, the primary factor to keep in mind at all times is that “types” are attracted to each other. If you don’t both fit into each others “type”, then it is unlikely that you will get into a mutual relationship. Yes, this is why everyone has a “hot” and an “ugly” friend.
