This thing, the BlackBerry 7130 (actually the whole BlackBerry series), is super cool. I’m not a big gadget person, but even I can’t help thinking about how much I wanted it when my former Realtor would pull it out before we went to a new house. She could get directions, check emails and send responses. For people on the go, this more-than-a-cell-phone necessity. For the rest of us, it’s a fun toy.
Features? The BlackBerry (the one pictured above is a BlackBerry 7130e) contains “integrated email,” phone, SMS, a calendar, and an organizer. The phone is also Bluetooth capable, but if you’re taking pictures and getting them developed, don’t blow them up too big or they’ll be fuzzy. The phone also has a LCD screen, an LED light, and you can, of course, get cool, customized ringtones.
The BlackBerry 7130e is available at Verizon Wireless for only $150 online (buying online gets you a discount). It is also available through Aliant, Alltel, Bell, MTS, NTelos, TELUS, SaskTel, Sprint, TBayTel, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon Wireless.
