Singer-Songwriter Dan Fogelberg Passes Away

Yesterday (Sunday December 16), three years after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, singer-songwriter Dan Fogelberg passed away at age 56.

On his website, www.danfogelberg.com, a posting read, “His strength, dignity and grace in the face of the daunting challenges of this disease were an inspiration to all who knew him.”

Dan celebrated beauty and romance with his lyrics, performing songs like “Leader of the Band” “Same Old Lang Syne” and “Hard to Say.” After discovering the prostate cancer, he urged other men to get tested for the disease.
