R&B Singer R. Kelly Finally Going To Trial?

R&B singer R. Kelly missed his court date yesterday. His tour bus was stopped by police in Utah, making them late. In 2002, Kelly was accused of having sex with a girl who was (at the time) 13 or 14 and then “relieving himself” on her.

Kelly still hasn’t gone to trial because he keeps pushing back the court date. However, he must show up today (December 20th) or he’ll be arrested.

Assistant State’s attorney, Shauna Boliker asked for the arrest warrant, saying he has been abusing court privileges. “The very least he could do is be here for his appointed court date.”
