Who is the Mona Lisa? According to research by German academics, it’s Lisa Gherardini, wife of the Florentine merchant Francesco del Giocondo. The academics found evidence that the painting is not in fact some sort of negative image of the master da Vinci himself. [Yahoo News/ Reuters]
