Law & Order News: Jesse Martin Leaving; Vincent D’Onofrio Proud Papa

Jesse L. Martin, who has been on the flagship Law & Order TV series for about nine years now, is leaving after one more episode. He’s planning to pursue his movie career. This includes four movies for this year: Peter and Vandy, Buffalo Bushido, Sexual Healing (as Marvin Gaye), and Silent Rhythm.

Law & Order: CI star Vincent D’Onofrio was rumored last year (the year before?) to be leaving that franchise but actually stayed on. His wife Carin gave birth to a baby boy, Luca, this past Feb 14th.

Both of these men are two of my favorite Law & Order actors. Good luck to Martin. Does anyone else think D’Onofrio might make a great Joker in a future Batman movie?
