Katie Holmes On Marriage to Tom Cruise: In Style Magazine

The almost-29-year-old actress says that when she and Tom Cruise met, it was love at first sight. Who ever said that stuff was for fairy tales? “It happened in an instant. When you fall in love, it’s as if time stops. It’s all-encompassing.”

Just before they celebrated their one-year anniversary in November, Tom shared that the secret to marriage is to celebrate one another. It seems that they’re doing that. Katie shared that the couple, married for just over a year now, like to spice up their life occasionally. “Tom likes me in a suit and mini every now and then. I like it when he likes it. It makes me blush.” Awww…

Suri, the couples 19-month old daughter, is growing up quickly, as little girls do. “Suri is talking up a storm. She loves coloring and creating. She’s a great mimic and dancer,” said Katie.

The mother (and stepmother) goes on to say that she and Tom are looking forward to making their family grow, but “I’m in no particular rush. We’re enjoying our time right now.”
