
Typically, it’s a good thing to set - or break - a record. Not in Jessica Simpson’s case, unfortunately. Her latest film, Blond Ambition, of which Luke Wilson was the co-star, only made $1,190. It may have been only shown in 8 theaters in Texas, but that’s still pretty bad. Maybe that’ll improve later.
One person figured out that that means only 6 people showed up per theater per day. Between Jessica and Luke, you’d think there’d have been more than that.

It’s not a record. Katherine Heigl’s Zyzzx Road only took in $30 in six days, in one theater in Texas in 2006.
