In Honor of Matt Damon

Since People Magazine just named Matt Damon “Sexiest Man Alive,” I thought it would be a good idea to take a quick look at this hottie.

37-year-old Matt Damon, who, in addition to a reportedly excellent sense of humor, is incredibly attractive (beautiful blue eyes, wonderful smile, hot bod), an excellent actor, and a wonderful husband and father. He’s also surprisingly humble for being all that he is.

Last year’s winner of “Sexiest Man Alive” was George Clooney, and he took it upon himself to help Matt get the award George felt he deserved. Acting as Matt’s “campaign manager,” George told Matt that, “It’s more about how you feel inside.” Matt confided that George and Brad Pitt taught him how to walk and carry himself so he could be sexy - and win. (How often do you hear about men discussing that?)

Evidently, Matt wrote People Magazine and told them why they shouldn’t give him the award, because he didn’t feel worthy of it. In the letter, he wrote, “Unfortunately, after all those years out on the trail, the meet and greets, the fund raisers, the stump speeches, I’ve finally come to terms with the fact that this is a mantle I wasn’t meant to hold.”Instead, he suggested that the award be given to American Football Star, Tom Brady. (Maybe Matt can be his campaign manager for next year??)

He also added in the letter, “You gave an aging suburban Dad the ego boost of a lifetime.” His wife of two years, Luciana Bozan Barroso told him that when he found out, he actually blushed.

Even Matt’s step-daughter (Luciana’s nine-year-old daughter from another marriage), Alexia, now thinks he’s cool. “Well, cooler” Matt added. That’s quite an accomplishment. Matt and Luciana also have a daughter of their own, Isabella, who was born on June 11, 2006.
