Hubert De Givenchy Relaunches First Celebrity Fragrance: L’Interdit
Long before current-day celebrities like Paris Hilton and Usher started portraying fragrances, Hubert de Givenchy used Audrey Hepburn to put a face to his fragrance. The scent, “L’interdit,” was the first “celebrity” fragrance.
Liv Tyler is the current face of the Givenchy fragrance, “Very Irresistible,” and now Givenchy is relaunching the very first celebrity scent (L’interdit), and Liv is representing it. Liv says it’s an honor to follow in the late Audrey Hepburn’s footsteps. “She was comfortable in her own skin.”
Both Very Irresistible and L’Interdit are primarily soft floral scents. Very Irresistible is about $40, and L’Interdit is about$50.
