Top 5 Celebrity ‘No Underwear’ Offenders

Opps She Showed it AGAIN!

The British public today launched a scathing attack on celebrities unable to keep their knickers on and kick-started a rebellion against the growing trend of ‘going commando’.

According to research findings revealed today, nearly fifty per cent of women are against this latest craze, calling it ‘slutty’ and are also tired of seeing paparazzi shots with female celebs revealing more than necessary, voting Britney Spears the worst offender.

The research, carried out by online underwear company, www.upliftedlingerie.co.uk, unveils a league table of the pant-less celebrities the British public are increasingly tired of seeing hit the headlines.

The dubious pleasure of the number one spot was awarded to Britney Spears, with a huge 42% of the vote, followed by Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan, Kate Moss and Christina Aguilera.

To combat this alarming new trend, the company has launched a ‘Commando Free Zone’ campaign, offering a free pair of pants with every bra bought via the www.upliftedlingerie.co.uk website during the month of October.

The site, which specialises in sizes D-L, has a large range of underwear from high street brands such as Freya, Panache and Gossard, suitable for any celebrity wanting to demonstrate a little more decorum when hitting the town.

Perhaps surprisingly, the research also revealed that men are growing equally tired of seeing celebrities without underwear, although, like their female counterparts, they are not adverse to going knickerless themselves when necessary.

Over half of women admitted to going commando once or twice to avoid the dreaded Visible Panty Line (VPL) and over a quarter were happy to forgo their knickers on a date.

Commenting on the findings, Penelope Edge, from the Finishing Academy in Cheshire, said: “If women want to look their best, wearing properly fitted underwear is essential. Regardless of their size, choosing the appropriate underwear can benefit their posture, silhouette and overall form, making them look and feel more confident and sexy. The celebrities who choose not to wear knickers are not only risking their dignity, there are also hygiene issues by exposing yourself to the elements.”

The research also highlighted that over a third of British men find the trend amongst women a “huge turn on” with one in three men regularly going commando themselves, a quarter doing so because they have no clean underwear.

Top Three Commando Stats for Men:

33% of men regularly go commando

36% of men find women going commando a “huge turn on”

37% of men go commando on a hot day for comfort

www.upliftedlingerie.co.uk is a website specialising in affordable underwear size D-L, featuring all the high street labels including Panache, Gossard, Freya, Charnos, Lepel and Shock Absorber. All deliveries and returns in the UK are FREE.
