Britney Spears Is No Virgin Mary

Director Phillippe Rebboah asked Britney Spears to star as the Virgin Mary in a new film, “Sweet Baby Jesus.” Although Britney’s still reviewing the script, a Catholic group is already up in arms.

“She is seriously miscast. She would be better suited to play the lead role in a called Monica (Lewinsky).”

The film, though, is about a 19-year-old modern day pregnant young woman who is unsure as to the identity of the baby’s father. Doesn’t sound to me like they’re really pushing the “virgin” bit all that much, but I can easily see the Church’s concern.
