An Enchanted Box Office Weekend

Enchanted, starring Amy Adams and Patrick Dempsey

Believe it or not, the film Enchanted did the best in the Box Office this weekend. This partially-animated fairy-tale brought to life starring Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams enchanted people everywhere, and brought in more than $50 million Wednesday-Sunday. I didn’t get to see it this weekend, but (I have to admit…) I really want to!

This Christmas, which looks hilarious, was the second most-popular film, bringing in $27 million Wednesday through Sunday. Beowulf, which was this weekend’s third most-popular film, brought in another $23 million. Hitman, which I saw and know was (to my surprise) wonderful, only came in fourth, bringing in $21 million altogether.

There were lots of great movies that came out this weekend, and it looks like the holidays are truly upon us - and bringing a selection of excellent movies with them. Hurray!
