Amy Winehouse: Shirtless Because She’s Tired?
Amy Winehouse went the smart route, hiring a PR Representative to “explain away” all of Amy’s inexplicable nighttime appearances and her bizarre behaviors. At least that’s the idea.
According to her rep, “She heard all these noises, and she went outside to look and there were all these photographers. She’d been sound asleep, and then there were all these photographers - of course she looked startled.”
Thing is, Amy’s wandered around outside for three nights in a row - the first night was Sunday, when she appeared without a shirt or shoes, and then Monday night she went outside without her shoes, trying to bum some cigarettes off some builders. Tuesday night, she made a fully-clothed appearance (surprise!) and went out with Pete Doherty.
She could just be having a hard time sleeping. On the other hand, there was a bag “filled with a white substance” in the car as Pete and Amy wandered the streets. I’m not sure that, if she’s getting better, as her PR rep claims, a heroine addict is the ideal person to spend time around.
Or maybe she’s turned nocturnal. Sounds more like drugs to me, but I guess you never know. Clearly, Amy’s hit a rut, and drugs or not, she needs to be doing something.
